I'm VERY excited to announce that I will be playing my first major festival at Musikfest this August in Bethlehem, PA!! Lady Antebellum, Don Henley, Boston, & ARETHA FRANKLIN will be headlining (just to name a few)! Oh...and I'm playing an hour before Lady Antebellum...so that's cool. UNREAL.

I found out today that my songs 'For Now' & 'Shut Me Off' have both been chosen for the International Songwriting Competition! Some of my favorite artists, including Kimbra, Vance Joy, Missy Higgins, & Lucy Schwartz, have placed in the past. It is truly an honor to be recognized be such a prestigious group.

This sping I was lucky enough to be involved with many of the American Caner Society's Relay For Life events in Southern California. Cancer has affected my loved ones and Relay for Life is as cause I will continue to fight for. I was honored to be involved in so many communities as they came together to fight back against cancer and remember all those we have lost. As of this month Relay for Life Beach Cities has raised $100,000! Here's to more birthdays!

Today was our last day recording vocals in the studio! So all of the instrument and vocal tracks have officailly been recorded for the upcoming Rilkey's EP!! SO EXCITING! We still have lots of work to do though! Mixing and mastering to come!

This coming week, I have three shows scheduled! Tuesday, July 16th, I will be playing a few songs at Suzy'y Bar & Grill! It's Taco Tuesday & Suzy's has great food! So come hungry! I go on around 7pm. Thursday, July 18th, I will be at The Hollywood & Highland Center with my new band, The Rilkeys, for LA CANVAS Presents: Live Large. Come out early and enjoy all the art, food, and, music! Last but not least, Saturday, July 20th, I will be performing a song at the Beach Cities Relay for Life in Redondo Beach! Relay For Life is a truly amazing and inspiring event where communiities come together to fight cancer. Im honored to be included. Come show your support for a great cause and enjoy some sweet tunes as you walk! Im singing around 9:30am. I'd love to see you there.
